My 12 year old daughter starting dancing at The Bloc 9 years ago. From the moment we walked through the studio doors I knew I made the right choice. Over the last nine years my daughter has had so many amazing opportunities from dancing at Nationals on the Gold Coast to two trips overseas to dance in Disneyland and Disneyworld not to mention our local Christmas Carols and Illuminarte. Two other ones were cheerleading at halftime for the Bulldogs and preforming hip hop at the Sydney Kings basketball game at Qudos Arena . Any child that attends the Bloc is a lucky kid. The different classes that they offer is excellent and the standard of the teaching staff is very high. Technique is so important at the studio along with safety and as a mum this is number one thing to look for in a studio. The Bloc has given my daughter as she calls it her forever friends. Dance is a team sport and even when she is dancing a solo its still a team because the team is right there cheering her on. If and when that day ever comes and Jess is no longer dancing I know she will be equipped with the ability to walk confidently into the next chapter with a strong work ethic, perseverance and respect for others and herself . This has a lot to do with The Bloc and I have to give credit to Sam and the teachers they certainly wear many hats teachers, carers and counsellors just to mention a few.
Why do I re enrol every year there a so many reasons! The business is a local business, The owner is a local,Safe environment, Caring environment, Amazing teachers and it prides itself on teaching the correct technique. But for the number one reason I asked my daughter and she simply said " Because Miss, all the teachers and my dance team are my family " Basically would I recommend The Bloc yes I would weather you have been there for 10 years or 1 day you are apart of this very special dance family.
